A HARLOW man has been jailed for six months for assaulting a woman.

Simon Smith. aged 45, of The Fennels, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.

On May 30th at Chigwell, assaulted a woman by beating her.

On July 30th at Chigwell assaulted a woman by beating her.

The offence was aggravated by Smith’s previous offending and failure to deal with alcohol.

Smith was jailed for six months and fined £225.00

He is also subject to a restraining order until Jan 27th, 2023.
