Old Harlow man charged with failing to give password to police

AN OLD Harlow man has been charged with failing to disclose a password to the police.
Christopher Golding aged 39, c/o Her Majesty’s Prison, Chelmsford has been charged with the following.
On January 16th at Harlow being required to disclose a key, namely password, to protected information, a device, by a notice issued under Section 49 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, knowingly failed, in accordance with the notice, to make the disclosure required
Contrary to section 53(1) and (5) of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000.
Golding’s case has been adjourned to February 24th at Colchester Magistrates Court.
