A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over allegations that he used a secret web browser to hide his internet history plus several charges relating downloading images of child abuse.

Christopher Kemp, aged 70, of Radburn Close, Harlow has been charged with the following.

Between 13/10/2018 and 30/10/2018 at Harlow without reasonable excuse, did something, use a Tor web browser to hide your internet history, that you were prohibited from doing by a sexual harm prevention order made by Chelmsford Crown Court on 11/10/2017.

On or Before 30/10/2018 at Harlow made indecent photographs, 8 x Cat A still images of a child.

On or Before 30/10/2018 at Harlow made indecent photographs, namely 5 x Cat B still images of a child.

On or Before 30/10/2018 at Harlow made indecent photographs, namely 84 x Cat C images of a child

Kemp has been sent for trial on March 17th at Basildon Crown Court.

Kemp has pleaded not guilty.
