THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.

Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH)

There has been one further death registered at PAH in Harlow.

The number of deaths is now at 531.

There have been 5 deaths in March.

There has been one death in last five days.

There were 38 deaths in February.

That compares with 170 deaths in January.

There are 13 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.

There are 146 outstanding test results.

Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

Local Authority Table

The number of cases has gone up to 51.

That is an increase of 7 but that could be because of mass testing in schools.

This means there are 60.9 cases per 100,000. This is an 18.5% decrease from seven days ago.

That is the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.

This figure relates to March 6th and reported on March 11th.

Harlow is 116th out of 315 local authorities.

It is the highest in Essex. Next highest is Colchester at 128th to Uttlesford at 245th.

THE INFECTION rate has gone down in just one out of eleven areas of Harlow.

It went up in three and stayed the same in seven.

There were 51 cases registered for March 5th and published on March 10th.

The lowest areas are Church Langley and Netteswell with zero.

The highest area is Little Parndon and Hare Street with 13.

The areas are geographic clusters of 7,500 people. More associated with relationship with surgeries.

Vaccinations

Number of people vaccinated with at least one dose

Week Ending: March 11th

The statistics are as follows:

Under 60: 10,436

Aged 60-64: 2,692

Aged: 65-69: 3,572

Aged 70-74: 3,229

Aged 75-79: 2,317

Aged 80 and above: 3,583

Total: 25,879

A total of 2,224 in the past week. That is an average of 317 a day.

Our sources tells us that there is set be a big push from Monday March 15th.
