HARLOW Council’s Licensing Committee are braced for a busy time after the route out of lockdown was announced.
One of the items was a presentation by the department on Covid-19 related issues with certain establishments.
Council officer, Michael Pitt told the on line committee that they had been in discussions with the new licence holders at The Chequers as well as the new operators of the Pink Cottage.
They also informed the committee that the pub company that runs the White Horse in Old Harlow have taken the loss of licence to appeal.
Mr Pitt then went on to tell the committee that they now expect a very busy time as we have now entered the road map out of lockdown.
