Harlow couple set to go to trial over assaults and possession of offensive weapons in Arkwrights

A MAN and a woman from Harlow are set to go on trial having been charged with a series of offences including causing actual bodily harm and possession of CG gas.

Kimberley Clarke, aged 32, of Mallows Green, Harlow has been charged as follows.

On July 5th at Harlow, without the authority of the Secretary of State, had in your possession a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a noxious liquid, namely CS gas.

On July 5th at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

On July 5th at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

Callum Tonna, aged 27, of Mallows Green, Harlow has been charged as follows.

On July 5th, 2020 at Harlow assaulted , thereby occasioning him, actual bodily harm.

On July 6th, 2020 at Harlow, without the authority of the Secretary of State, had in your possession a weapon designed or adapted for the discharge of a noxious liquid, namely CS gas.

On July 5th 2020, at Harlow had with you in a public place, namely Arkwrights, an offensive weapon, namely a knife, with which you unlawfully and intentionally threatened another person, in such a way that there was an immediate risk of serious physical harm to him.

Both Clarke and Tonna have pleaded not guilty.

A trial date of April 6th at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.

They have both been released on conditional bail.
