The Daily Covid Report: Number of cases in Harlow increases by one (and one death in 10 days at PAH)

THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.

Princess Alexandra Hospital
There has been no further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.
The number of deaths remains at 533.
There have been 7 deaths in March.
That compares to 34 in first 20 days of February and 135 in first 19 days of January.
There were 38 deaths in February.
That compares with 170 deaths in January.
There are 12 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.
There are 111 outstanding test results.
Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

Local Authority Table
The number of cases has increased by one to 43.
This means there are 49.4 cases per 100,000. This is a decrease of 17.3% from seven days ago.
That is the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.
This figure relates to March 15th and reported on March 20th.
Harlow is 139th out of 315 local authorities.
It is the third highest in Essex. Highest is Castle Point at 107th to Brentwood at 301st.

THE INFECTION rate has gone down in three out of eleven areas of Harlow.
It went up in one and stayed the same in nine.
The lowest areas are Church Langley, Great Parndon, Old Harlow, Passmores, Potter Street, Kingsmoor and Staple Tye with zero.
The highest area is Little Parndon with 9.
