Princess Alexandra Hospital

There has been no further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.

The number of deaths remains at 533.

There have been 7 deaths in March.

There has been one death in the past thirteen days.

That compares to 36 in first 23 days of February and 146 in first 23 days of January.

There were 38 deaths in February.

That compares with 170 deaths in January.

There are 10 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.

There are 235 outstanding test results.

Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

Local Authority Table

The number of cases has decreased by five to 43.

Last nine days: 47, 49, 49, 44, 42, 43, 42, 48 and 43

This means there are 49.4 cases per 100,000. This is an increase of 2.0% from seven days ago.

The rise could be down to more testing as a number of school pupils have been reported as testing positive.

That is still the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.

This figure relates to March 17th and reported on March 22nd.

Harlow is 120th out of 315 local authorities.

It is the third highest in Essex. Highest is Castle Point at 107th to Maldon at 310th

THE INFECTION rate has gone down in one out of eleven areas of Harlow.

It went up in four and stayed the same in six.

The lowest areas are Great Parndon, Potter Street and Kingsmoor with zero.

The highest area is Little Parndon with 8.
