THIS is our daily Covid report for Harlow. This includes the figures for Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH). The table of 315 local authorities in England and the breakdown of cases for eleven areas of Harlow.
Finally, we also have the weekly number of people vaccinated in Harlow.

Princess Alexandra Hospital
There has been one further deaths registered at PAH in Harlow.
The number of deaths rises to 534.
There have been 8 deaths in March.
That compares to 37 in first 27 days of February and 161 in first 27 days of January.
There were 38 deaths in February.
That compares with 170 deaths in January.
There are 10 Covid in-patients including 1 on a ventilator.
There are 235 outstanding test results.
Back on January 4th, there was 204 Covid in patients.

Local Authority Table
The number of cases has decreased to 42.
Last thirteen days: 47, 49, 49, 44, 42, 43, 42, 48, 43, 46, 47, 47 and 42
This means there are 48.2 cases per 100,000. This is a decrease of 4.6% from seven days ago.
Harlow does seem to be stuck in the 40s. You do start to wonder if it will simply be in the 40s for quite a period of time to come. If so, what do the authorities do?
The situation could be down to more testing as a number of school pupils have been reported as testing positive.
That is still the lowest rate since October 8th, 2020.
This figure relates to March 22nd and reported on March 27th.
Harlow is 137th out of 315 local authorities.
It is the second highest in Essex. The lowest is Maldon at 305th

The Harlow Breakdown
THE INFECTION rate has gone down in four out of eleven areas of Harlow.
It went up in two and stayed the same in five.
The lowest areas are Bush Fair, Great Parndon, Netteswell and Potter Street
The highest area is Old Harlow and Newhall with 9.
