Heart 4 Harlow: Preparing for a GOOD Good Friday

Communities / Sun 28th Mar 2021 at 10:28am

AS we begin this journey through Holy Week, once again Covid restrictions prevent Heart 4 Harlow from holding it’s annual “Walk with the Cross” through the town centre. However, Hope is on the horizon and many of the town’s churches will be, once again, opening their doors to congregations on Easter Sunday.

The popular “Walk with the Cross” event was missed last year and determined not to disappoint, Heart 4 Harlow have moved the event online. Baptist Minister Revd Alison Taylor, who chairs the H4H Church and Chaplaincy group said “The church in Harlow is again unable to gather in person as it traditionally would, to Walk with the Cross on Good Friday. However, we shall be following the same format virtually and we are pleased to have included various traditions from across the town, in an online service that will be broadcast simultaneously on YouTube and Facebook at 10am on Good Friday morning, 2nd April.”
