Police seal off section of Momples Road in Harlow

Statement from Essex Police
“We were called by fire brigade colleagues at 0:43 am today (Tuesday 30 March) following a report of a loud bang and damage to a vehicle which was alight in Ladyshot, Harlow.
Fire brigade attended to make safe the vehicle.
A man who was nearby was treated for a minor burn injury.
A cordon was in place for the safety of residents whilst we dealt.
The vehicle has now been removed.
The road was reopened at 1:45pm.
Anyone who was in that area at the time and may have dash cam footage of the vehicle prior to, or of the incident, is asked to contact us on 101 quoting incident 40 of 30 March.
Also, anyone with doorbell footage of the incident is also asked to call us.
ESSEX Police have sealed off a street in Harlow.
The street in question is the Ladyshot section of Momples Road.
Approximately, a hundred metres of road has been sectioned off.
The police activity appears to concentrated on a car in the street.
Forensic teams have a camera perched next to a car.
Both plain clothes and uniformed police are there.
YH understands that the police have been in the area since midnight.
There are unconfirmed reports that a large bang was heard in the area.
Many residents around town heard fireworks go off at that time but that may not necessarily be related.
