Hip Hop Pop set to return to the studios

THE wait for hundreds of children is almost over; they can fish out their dancing trainers and Hip Hop Pop tees as our kids dance classes in Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford return to the studios.
Lockdown 3.0 has been tough for so many in so many different ways, many youngsters have missed out on one of the most efficient ways to look after their mental and physical well-being: dance. Our classes have been available for all students of all ages, as well as additional activities, throughout all 3 lockdowns in the UK, yet the motivation to get online has been difficult for so many, and we completely understand.
The good news is, many students have continued to keep up their training with us, even though online-only has been tough for some. Although the non-onliner’s have continued to stay loyal members, they have been patiently awaiting the return of in-person classes. Finally, the wait is over!
When do the children return to the dance studio?
From April 12th, we move into phase 2 of 4 of our own ‘return to the studio’ plan, seeing students aged under 18 return to the studio in a hybrid fashion. Hybrid meaning; socially distanced classes where half of the group dance in the studio and half online, alternating each week.
Here’s a reminder of our phases of ‘returning to the studio’
Although ‘hybrid’ isn’t a full return to the studio, it’s an important and safe step.
Building our students confidence in themselves is mine and my team’s lead focus when we return to the studio, as well as building on their physical fitness and their dance skills of course. It’s integral that students regain the feeling that Hip Hop Pop is a safe place to express themselves and not be afraid to, in the words of Aaliyah, dust yourself off and try again when returning to learning.
Our street dance clubs in schools return too
We are super pumped that our sister company Hip Hop Pop Schools Clubs Ltd is able to re-open 8 of the 30 clubs they deliver to primary schools in Essex and Hertfordshire, with another 5 opening at the end of May and the rest in September.
Our school’s clubs provide a vital service for parents and schools alike, encouraging physical fitness in a fun and all-inclusive way.
We’re proud to be providing PE lesson content in many primary schools via video courses and in-person lessons, playing our part in getting the youngsters of our corner of the nation fit and making dance super fun!

“Just watched the Hip Hop Pop dance school show and wow! We went on the Saturday night and it was that good I booked another ticket that night for the Sunday afternoon show. I am forever grateful for the confidence that Jen and the team have brought out of Alfie.
I cried seeing him up on that stage I wish I had that confidence. I feel so proud to watch him dance, he loves the lessons, courses and making new friends. He loves his Hip Hop Pop family! We 100% recommend even my youngest wants to join”
