A YOUNG Harlow entrepreneur has been shortlisted for a prestigious business award.
Owen Barrow has been nominated for the Octopus Energy Springboard Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2021.
He was nominated by Harlow MP Robert Halfon.
Owen said: “The past year for everyone involved in GoGetters has been nothing short of a rollercoaster and there hasn’t been a second to breathe.
“Our focus has been and still is to offer as much support as we physically can during the pandemic.
We are working around the clock, doing things such as getting restaurants live & on the platform for deliveries in less than a day, queuing up for prescriptions for the elderly who couldn’t get out due to lockdown, doing a EatInToHelpOut scheme at our own cost to increase volume and tons of other things to keep things moving for everyone in our industry.
“This all involves extra hours, more hardwork and sheer determination. So being nominated for an award like this, is that little pat on the back that makes it all worth it.
Again its a HUGE honour to be nominated for this personally, but this really is an overall nomination to everyone involved in keeping the cogs moving, all of our staff, all of the drivers, our software team, our restaurants/stores & our shareholders, its been an incredible team effort the past 12 months.
Thank you Robert Halfon for the nomination!
