Covid-19: Number of vaccinations in Harlow plummets
Covid-19 / Thu 8th Apr 2021 at 02:16pm
THE number of vaccinations given out in Harlow has plummeted.
To be fair, we were all given fair warning that there would be a decline due to a supply problem across the whole country.
This was also an Easter weekend.
Health bosses in charge of the Harlow Leisurezone vaccination centre told YH that they were furiously ringing round at the weekend, cancelling appointments and asking residents to rearrange.
A health spokesperson said: “If we did cancel you appointment then we urge you to go back into the NHS portal and re-book your appointment.
“They can be for Harlow but you also have the option of places such as Loughton as well.”
It is still a remarkable statistic that over 38,000 Harlow residents have been vaccinated.
Well done to all involved.
