Run in the sun as Harlow Junior parkrun returns after thirteen month absence

IT was a beautiful sunny Sunday morning as the Harlow Junior parkrun returned after a thirteen month hiatus due to Covid-19.
Race Director Catherine Penketh and her team beamed with a mixture of delight and relief as the 178th running of the event got underway.
There was a total of 69 runners between the age of 4 and 10 taking part.
The age group was usually 4-14 but a restriction was made as we slowly ease out of lockdown.
