Athletics: Sean blazes a trail by the river

HARLOW Running Club member Sean Flynn completed the Henley River Trail Half Marathon at the weekend. This is a scenic trail race that starts and finishes by the Temple Island Meadows – the official start line for the Royal Henley Rowing Regatta. Sean finished in 152nd place out of 281 finishers in 1hr 58min 05sec. 

Meanwhile at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10k Bobby Draper finished in 87th place out of 270 finishers in 44.50, a PB by over 4mins, Simon Couper was 124th in 47.58 and Sue Shilling 270th in 1.39.48.

At the St. George’s Day Virtual 10k Robin Lozeau finished in 44th place out of 139 finishers in 54.41. 

At the Ashridge Duathlon (6 miles run, 24 miles bike, 3 miles run) Ben Usher finished in 100th place out of 256 finishers in 2.21.33.
