Accuro celebrates Cook Along Finale with a virtual BBQ

Charity / Sat 29th May 2021 at 10:41am

SINCE September 2020, former Chef of The Lemon Tree Restaurant, Bishop’s Stortford, Luke Fishpool has been running Virtual Cooking Workshops in aid of Disability Charity, Accuro (Care Services). The workshops have so far raised almost £900 for the Charity, which provides clubs and services for Children, Young People and Adults with disabilities across West Essex.

With opportunities for in person events opening up again, the Cook Along Sessions in the current capacity will be coming to an end with a Virtual BBQ Finale on Tuesday 22nd June. The sessions have been running since September and have had more than 50 participants, with several becoming regular attendees.

Sue Fishpool, fundraising manager at Accuro said, “We are thrilled to be joined by friends of the Accuro Cook Along, Fran and Richard, for the BBQ edition in June.

Richard will be Luke’s Sous Chef whilst Fran and I will make sure the session runs smoothly and we will hopefully enjoy an evening in the sunshine!

This will be the last Cook Along in this series – we want to go out with a BANG and reach £1000 raised for Accuro by Luke through his Cook Along sessions so we ask you to join in with friends and family and celebrate with us.”

The session will be held on Tuesday 22nd June at 6pm via Zoom. For more details or to register, visit accurocareservices.square.site/events
