Appeal after a hundred CM17 magazines stolen

Crime / Wed 2nd Jun 2021 at 05:22pm

AN appeal has been made after over a hundred copies of a very popular community magazine in Harlow were stolen.

Publisher Lorraine Perry said: “One of my deliverers has just had their bag of around a hundred CM17’s stolen from the Seeleys area of Old Harlow this afternoon (Wednesday).

“There were three teens, one on an electric scooter and two on bikes. They just picked up the bag and were off.

“They then made their way to Mark Hall

“Our delivery person is really upset. These “bored” youngsters have caused her unnecessary upset.

A working day that had been organised and childcare planned so that a highly valued member of our team could do their work.

“If you see a high vis delivery bag of 100 magazines “dumped” anywhere, can you please let us know?

“We’ll come and retrieve them asap. You know that they would normally be delivered through letterboxes!!”
