SHEA Lolin is a classical musician and media producer with nearly two decades of experience in performing, recording and producing a wide range of media to support the music industry.
Having studied at the Colchester Institute School of Music, Shea spent the first decade of his career focused on education with posts at Morley College and Benslow Music amongst others. His passion for photography and videography grew and supported his performing and conducting work.
Highlights from his varied work include conducting the Czech Philharmonic and the London Woodwind Orchestra, filming and recording for the Global Organ Group and the Diocese of Brentwood. He has also commissioned Judith Bingham OBE to write a new work which will be premiered in 2021.
He is currently working on a commission to make a film for the British composer Martin Ellerby with an orchestral work recorded with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Shea Lolin writes:
“I’m really excited about coming to Parndon Mill as a resident artist. I’ve always worked from home or in the offices and studios of the projects I had been working on but that was becoming difficult to manage. I made an enquiry to Parndon Mill and within a few months, there was some studio space available. This will allow me to flourish and develop my artform amongst many other respected artists. I’m looking forward to meeting you all!”
Shea is a great new addition to our community of creative practices and is already being a proactive member. I'm looking forward to introducing him to colleagues at other cultural venues in Harlow.
