THIS weekend saw miles-a-plenty run by two amazing ladies from the Innovation Multisport Club. On Sunday (27th June) Louise Peacock achieved her second personal best in as many weeks when she completed the Milton Keynes marathon in a time of 4 hours 27 minutes and 34 seconds, this constituted a 55 minute pb which means she ran each mile an average of 2 minutes quicker than her 2019 previous best!
On Saturday (26th June) Kelly Burgess ran the Cotswold Way 100km Ultra Marathon. As if the distance wasn’t enough of a challenge the route was predominantly off road and had an elevation gain of 2250m! Setting of at 7am Kelly run throughout the day and completed the 100km in the early hours of Sunday morning, resulting in being 77th out of 278, and 16th out of 108 females. This is a phenomenal achievement and she was raising money for a mental health charity, if you’d like to sponsor her for her amazing feat then follow this link https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/kelly-burgess62
