County Council to host virtual Job and Apprenticeship Fair for Essex residents

ESSEX County Council is inviting Essex residents to a virtual Job and Apprenticeship Fair on Wednesday 7th July 10.30am -12.30pm.
Meet employers and hear about their current opportunities they will also discuss their application and interview process. Visitors can also speak directly to employers via live chat during the event, this is great opportunity to speak employers and have your questions answered.
This is an opportunity to meet a range of employers who are currently recruiting in Essex, in several sectors offering a variety of roles. Employers include Anderson Construction, Athona Recruitment, Essex County Council, Essex Library Service, Essex Police, Essex Fire and Rescue Service, Galliford Try, Investment 2020, The NHS, Ringway Jacobs, Rose Builders and many more.
Cllr Tony Ball, Essex County Council Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Skills and Training, said: “Adults and school leavers who are looking for work or re training opportunities should take advantage of this offer and register for the virtual event, this is a great opportunity to speak to local employers and find out about their live vacancies.”
If you are unable to attend the event a recording of the session will be available online for 30 days after the event.
This will be hosted on the Essex Opportunities portal a one stop shop for information and guidance on employment and skills in Essex, funded by Essex County Council and Southend on Sea Borough Council.
