Athletics: Dynamic Danny wins All England 800 metre championship

STEWARDS Academy student Danny Raymond has won the All-England 800 metres championships in Manchester.
It was a masterclass in front running as sixteen-year-old Danny led from gun to tape to win in a time of 1.53.2 secs.
The first lap was a two horse race where a brave Hertfordshire runner was the only athlete who could stay with Woodford Green athlete Danny.
He ran the second lap alone to win in a personal best time.
This is a fantastic result and testament to his huge ability and potential.
Well done to coach John Stow and Danny’s family how have been a great support structure for the young athlete.
