A MAN has been fined and given a community order for assaulting a schoolboy on his way to school.
Marius Stefan Petrescu, 27, of High Street, Roydon, appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 13 July.
He pleaded guilty to the following.
On June 28th at Harlow assaulted a male by beating.
The incident occurred at 8.15 am on First Avenue in Harlow.
He was fined £280.00 and must undertake 60 hours of unpaid work over next twelve months.
Maybe has any anger issues & a management course would be more appropriate
Not enough think he should be get a good hidein and not hit children
Some, not all but most of the school kids today seem to think that can not be punished for being little S*#%S. Lets be honest if they are being rude or abusive they need a slap or two to make them realise that it's not all about them
This boy is well known in Harlow to be a lovely boy !!! Luckily the man put his hands up admitted he was wrong And never said one bad word about the boy ! It’s sad to think it’s ok for a 28 year old man to hit a child on his way to school , at least it was all caught on camera and lots and lots of witnesses, just hope the boy recovers mentally. One of the nicest kids you could ever ever meet .
In reply to Sharon. I've been on an anger management course turned out to be a complete waste of time and of no help what so ever. A nice idea but no use in practice.
What a bully, and basically gets away with it.! He shouldn't be allowed round kids permanently. Needs a good beating vile bully.!
Seems to me that the editor of YourHarlow wants to censor comments that don’t align with the “everything is perfect and all is pink and pretty” scope. Censoring comments is absolutely disgraceful and against the standards set by journalism. Shame on YourHarlow for failing to see that. Perhaps they should go back to school to understand that opinions are acceptable regardless if they align with your own or not... what a disgrace.
