Collection of food waste bins to resume on Monday

General / Thu 12th Aug 2021 at 07:34am

FROM Monday 16 August 2021 separate weekly food waste collections will resume in Harlow following a temporary suspension to the service.

From Monday food waste can once again be put out separately in green caddies. Any excess food waste can be put in a cardboard box and placed on top of caddies.

Harlow Council would like to thank the bin crews for their continued hard work and thank residents for their patience at this time.

Some good news at least from the council but not sure how they have recruited extra drivers so quickly. Which was the justification/excuse given. Just a shame that in my area we’re still waiting for the non recycling to be collected. It’s like the lottery you pay you wait you hope your disappointed.

Sounds just like the good old days under Labour. You should be pleased! Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.
