Harlow residents banned for drug driving offences (and one refusal)

A NUMBER of Harlow residents have been banned after driving under the influence of drugs.

Jason Roythorne, aged 43. of Fullers Mead pleaded guilty to the following.

On March 8th, 2021 at Harlow drove a BMW on Church Langley Way, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine (BZE, cocaine breakdown product), in your blood exceeded the specified limit.

Roythorne was banned for twelve months and fined £800.00

Mario Culora, aged 53, of Milwards,, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following.

On January 30th, 2021 at Harlow drove a Land Rover on Southern Way, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine (BZE), in your blood, namely not less than 185 micrograms of analyte per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.

Culora was banned for twelve months and fined £600.00

Craig Higgins, aged 34, of Little Pynchons pleaded guilty to the following.

On January 29th, 2021 at Marks Tey drove a Ford Focus on a road, namely A12 London Road Trunk Route southbound, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely De lta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol, in your blood, namely 9.1, exceeded the specified limit.

Higgins was banned for 23 months and fined £200.00

Thomas Johnson, aged 24, of Hart Road, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following.

On February 6th, 2021 at Great Dunmow drove a VW Polo on a road, namely The Broadway, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, in your blood, namely not less than 347 micrograms of drug per litre of blood, exceeded the specified limit.

Johnson was banned for 23 months and fined £200.00

Collins Gyabaah, aged 46, of Brockles Mead, Harlow was found guilty of the following.

On December 15 2019 at Thornwood when suspected of having driven a vehicle and having been required to provide a specimen or specimens of breath for analysis by means of a device of a type approved by the Secretary of State pursuant to section 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 in the course of an investigation into whether you had committed an offence under section 3A, 4, 5 or 5A thereof, failed without reasonable excuse to do so.

Gyabaah was banned for two years, fined £700 and ordered to undertake 90 hours of unpaid work.
