National parkrun boss praises Harlow events

THE CHIEF Operating Officer of parkrun was full of praise for Harlow Junior event.
Tom Williams visited the Harlow Junior Parkrun on Sunday morning.
Tom has been involved with parkrun since 2007 and has worked full time for the operation since 2011.
Tom and his family joined over 50 youngsters as they took part in the 2k run around the Harlow Town Park show ground.
Tom is a good friend to Harlow Paralympics Gold medalist, Noel Thatcher, whom, along with his family, runs and volunteers at the event.
Speaking to YH, Tom said: “What a lovely location for a Junior parkrun. My congratulations to the whole team for what they do.
“I appreciate how much they and the team that run the Saturday Parkrun in Harlow have made to get the events back up and running”.
