WITH only two games gone, it is much too early too assess the quality of the opposition in front of Harlow Town.

However, their 4-0 away defeat at the hands of Bedford may well illustrate the quality of the home team, rather than any fault fo the Hawks.

Bedford have former Scotland international Craig Mackail Smith in their ranks and he opened the scoring in the 31st minute.

The other scorers were: Dan Walker (53′ and ’73) and Connor Tomlinson (70′).

The result leaves Harlow in eleventh place.

They are in FA Cup action on Saturday, away to Colney Heath.
