A TEENAGE boy who stabbed a cab driver in Harlow has continued to flout the conditions of his sentence.
The sixteen-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sent to a youth detention centre in March after pleading guilty to stabbing a cab driver in the Rundells area of the town.
He was also made subject to a number of other conditions.
Back in May, we reported that he had failed to comply with doorstep curfews on on 01.04.2021, 07.04.2021, 08.04.2021, 13.04.2021, 17.04.2021, 22.04.2021, 26.04.2021, 27.04.2021, 29.04.2021.
He had also missed placements on 12.5.21 – 17.5.21.
It has now been reported that he failed to comply with the following:
He did not attend a supervision appointment on 14.07.2021 and failed to comply with his curfew (electronically monitored) on 14.07.21 (8 hours violation), 15.07.2021 (22 minutes violation) and 26.07.2021 (2 hours and 11 minutes violation).
The teenager pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court on August 20th.
Participate in Reparation for three days.
Original requirements to continue: Activity Requirement, Curfew Requirement, Supervision Requirement
No doubt he's acting like this because he is being molly-coddled by a youth offending team who do not understand the these yobs should be punished and taught that crime is wrong.
This is a joke. Ive got no doubt that he will continue to be a scourge on the town as he gets older. Either bring back National service or increase prison sentences!
