M11 shut at Harlow due to serious collision involving five vehicles

Statement from Fire Service
Firefighters were called to assist at the scene of a road traffic collision on the M11 on Monday evening.
On arrival, crews confirmed that five vehicles had been involved in the incident, which occurred on the northbound carriageway between junction 7 (Harlow) and junction 8 (Bishop’s Stortford). One person was trapped in a vehicle.
Firefighters worked hard to release the casualty by 9.51pm before leaving them in the care of the Ambulance Service.

The M11 is closed northbound between Junction 7 and Junction 8 due to a collision
Essex police are in attendance.

Pete will never use 7A he will drive through Harlow to get to junction 7 .
Not against 7a in principle just in wrong place. Should have been north of Sawbo and link with 120 at Thorley and stortford bypas. Yet again Essex bows down to Herts, as with river stort crossing.
