Police appeal after man brandishes a machete in The Shark pub car park

ESSEX Police has appealed for witnesses after a man went on the rampage with a machete in the ground of a Harlow pub.
Frightened customers were shocked as a man brandishing a large machete confronted a number of others in the car park of The Shark pub off Hodings Road in Harlow.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 6.30pm on Friday 27 August with reports of a group of men with weapons in Hobtoe Road, Harlow.
Officers spoke to people in the area and a witness reported seeing one person with what appeared to be a knife.
Officers carried out a search of the area but no-one was found matching the description of the suspect.
