Harlow MP Robert Halfon defends backing health care levy and stance on crime

News / Sat 11th Sep 2021 at 01:16pm

HARLOW MP Robert Halfon was in robust form when we interviewed him on Friday afternoon.

Mr Halfon was in the Katherines area of Harlow speaking to residents regarding the large warehouses that loomed over their homes.

We spoke to Mr Halfon about this issue and what he could, if anything, do as the MP.

We also spoke to him about the health and social care levy that will see thousands of Harlow taxpayers face having to find more to pay.

Finally, we challenged him on a number of recent press releases he released regarding crime.

I would like to know why the police don’t walk the streets or travel on the buses etc? Surely this isn’t difficult? I would also like to know how many roughly we have on each shift? Also why they travel in pairs or even up to 5? is Harlow that bad they can’t work alone? Surely they will see more walking than in a car. Has community policing gone from Harlow now? We know Harlow is a training area for the police something needs to be sorted in this town before it’s to late.
