FORMER Stewards Academy athlete Danny Raymond won a bronze medal in his debut race for England.

Danny was representing England in a Home International competition in Derby.

Danny was third in the 800 metres in a time of 1.54.24, just a second behind the winner, Kai Crawford from Scotland.

This is the culmination of a great season for Danny who runs for Woodford Green and Essex Ladies.

His coach John Stow said: This was a fine end of the season for Danny. He will now focus on a good winter and next summertime for close to 1.50.
