A WELL-known Harlow food outlet has announced its closure.
Willetts is based up at The Pinnacles on Elizabeth Way.
A statement was issued on their Facebook page.
It states:
“As of Sunday 3rd of October we will be closing down our beloved takeaway here in Harlow.
Despite this maybe being a shock to you guys we have already closed in Stortford and this has been on the cards for the past year as the costs of running our business continue to climb.
It is no longer an option to run on the current business model of takeaway delivery.
We will be looking at moving into the restaurant sector with footfall potential. It is just waiting for something suitable to become available that meets our investment range.
“We have some options in other areas and are looking at those to keep us running.
We have built a huge following but are limited by our current premises and location to be able to progress how we need to.
“We would like to thank you our loyal customers for all of your support. This is not goodbye, it is see you later we will be back.
Our amazing staff thank you from the bottom of their hearts
Just so you know this week we are open as normal so get your Willetts one last time. We wish you all the very best and watch this space.”
