Harlow man set to stand trial over five indecent assaults on a child from thirty years ago

A MAN is set to stand trial over a number of alleged indecent assaults from thirty years ago.
Gary Staines, aged 65, of Marks Hall, Mark Hall Lane, Essex faces ten charges.
They include:
Between May 10th and July 10th, 1991, in Harlow, indecently assaulted, on at least five occasions, a child under the age of thirteen.
Between June 10th 1991 and August 3rd, 1992 at Harlow on at least five occasions, indecently assaulted a girl under the age of 13 years.
On between 1June 10th, 1991 and August 3rd 1992 at Harlow committed an act of gross indecency on at least five occasions towards a girl under the age of 14.
Staines has been released on conditional bail.
A trial date of October 27th at Chelmsford Crown Court has been set.
Staines pleads not guilty.
