PLANS for over 50 car parking spaces in a development off First Avenue have met with a series of objections by local residents.
The application submitted to Harlow Council is for: external works including 54 car parking spaces, 30 cycle spaces, new playground area and associated landscaping | Flat Blocks 1-14 And 15-22 And 23-36 Amberry Court.
Amberry Court is off First Avenue, near to Park Lane.
The application can be found on Harlow Council’s planning page, look under HW/FUL/21/00434
One resident has written a very detailed objection.
You can read it below.
I hope the car park developers are aware that the Statuary River authority (CRT) will not accept any additional ground water being discharged into the Stort due to the culmative flooding risk. Each and every development strains the groundwater drainage system further.
