Driver evades police after chase across Harlow

ESSEX Police has appealed for witnesses after a driver of a car ran off after failing to stop.
An Essex Police spokesperson said: “Officers directed a vehicle to stop in the Fifth Avenue area of Harlow at around 1.40pm on 19 October.
The vehicle failed to stop and the person(s) inside decamped in the Southern Way area.
Officers carried out a search of the area but could not find the person in the vehicle.

You forgot to say how you chased said van (not car) through a residential area, narrowly avoiding pedestrians as you mounted the kerbs chasing him! Is risking innocent people's life's worth the chase!
What I don’t understand 3 police cars chasing said van & said person(s) get away???
Good evening, the van also smacked into my mother in laws car and left part of the van in the bumper, wrecked the front bumper, head light and also the front fender

You failed to mention how at one point this was outside the back of the college, with one officer on a push bike! And the time isn't correct either.
That's a very general comment Acab. I have always found that essex police do a great job. They are underfunded under resourced. Seems like people are knocking them at every possible opportunity.
