Harlow teenager fined for breaching Covid regulations by attending party during lockdown

A HARLOW teenager has been fined £1200 for breaching Covid regulations by attending a gathering in Colchester.

Dillon Osei, aged 19, of Great Leylands, Harlow was tried by the single justice procedure at Colchester magistrates court.

The offence was:

On February 12th at Colchester, without reasonable excuse and other than as permitted by the Regulations, participated in a gathering in the Tier 4 area of Colchester, which took place in a private dwelling, namely 44 Mascott Square, Colchester and consisted of two or more people.

Contrary to regulation 10(1)(a) and (2) and paragraph 3(1) of Schedule 3A to the Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020.

The court heard police attended the address, loud music could be heard and sound of many people within the property. On police knocking on the door they witnessed 15-20 people running from the address, two were detained and taken back to the address whereby there were 11 person in the premises.

Osei was fined a total of £1200.00

This seems to be a lefty news feed so they more than likely will allow a user name to be tory scum. That seems to be the term coming from the heart of the labour party... very mature

Anyone knowing they have covid going in to a public area should be jailed.
