Athletics: St Nicholas’ do the double at Harlow schools cross country champs

THE ST Nicholas’ school cross country team also performed admirably at the Harlow Schools Cross Country Championships.
The event started at Burnt Mill Academy and the course wound its way around the Harlow Town Park.
The Year 8/9 race was won by Alistair Mizon from Year 8.
Year 11 student Larna Morgan came second in her year group race.
The Year 7 girls’ team placed 2nd overall and the Year 8/9 girls and boy teams placed third overall.
Both Alistair and Larna will progress to the county finals in January along with three other Saint Nicholas pupils (Clementine Crosby, Alana Miller and Annabel Haste) who all finished in the top six in their relevant age categories.
