FURTHER to their letter dated 17 September 2021, Essex Highways have detailed planned overnight motorway closures by GRAHAM on behalf of Essex County Council, to complete further works associated with the construction of the new M11 Junction 7A.

Overnight Motorway Closures

Following the completion of the major works associated with the gantries, overbridge and slip roads, the removal of the narrow lane running system and the completion of extensive resurfacing works will require closures.

Overnight closures of the M11 Northbound and Southbound will be required between Junction 7 (Harlow) and Junction 8 (Bishops Stortford/ Stansted Airport) starting Wednesday 24th November as detailed in the table below.

The Northbound diversion route will be clearly signposted for the A414, A10, A120 where vehicles can re-join the M11 at Junction 8.

The Southbound diversion route will be clearly signposted for the A120, A10, A414 where vehicles can re-join the M11 at Junction 7.
