TANY’S Dell are celebrating a successful trip to Harlow Bowl.
Pupils from the Enhanced Provision for Deaf Children competed against other schools in Essex.
They came second and so were presented with a medal and a certificate each. They also were awarded a trophy to take back to school.
It was organised by Panathlon Foundation. Panathlon is a national charity which gives thousands of young people with disabilities and special educational needs the opportunity to take part in competitive sport.
Mrs Brignal, Qualified Teacher of the Deaf said, ‘It was a great morning for the children to meet and to compete against children from other schools.’
Alfie said ’It was the best day ever.’
That's fantastic! Great teacher giving the children such a wonderful opportunity.
