THE CHRISTMAS lights and a special memory tree in Old Harlow have been switched on.

The event was organised by Daniel Robinson and Sons.

A spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who came along to see the Christmas lights turned on and sing Carols around the ‘Memory Tree’ in Old Harlow on Saturday.

“Special thanks to Pastor Tony for leading the Carol Service, Harlow Town Brass Band, and Robert Halfon M.P. who turned on the lights, which were very kindly sponsored by the company who have been working on the highway upgrades, Graham.

“If you would like to write the names of loved ones on a In Memory bauble, we have them available in our funeral home in Station Road, they are also available at the Flower Box”
