Dan Worth from Mind in West Essex said:

Our vision is for West Essex to be a place where people talk openly and positively about mental health, and where everyone gets the support and respect needed to live well.  We do this in a variety of ways, such as providing talking therapies like counselling, working with partners in the health and social care arena, providing social and support groups both in person and digitally, and work hard to reduce the negative stigma around mental health. We also provide a really big range of training and learning for communities and businesses to improve their workplace wellbeing. Our Board of Trustees are all volunteers drawn from the local community and we actively encourage involvement by people who have personal experience of mental ill health in all aspects of our organisation. We are delighted to have been announced as the Check-in @ Stansted charity of choice this year and look forward to raising the profile of Mind in West Essex on the day”.
