AS with many churches across Harlow, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at St Stephen’s Church, near Bush Fair, especially having spent time in last Sunday’s Service creating sheep, start and doves to help adorn the church with.
Next Sunday will see the placing of the Christmas Tree outside the church with tags for people to come along and add prayers to for people past, present and future.
And on Saturday 18th December members of St Stephen’s Church will be congregating at 1.30pm to sing Christmas Carols, share Christmas readings and impart a seasonal message to shoppers and residents alike. Revd Sophie Weller, Curate said “Everyone is welcome to join us – we hope that this will bring a much needed dose of joy and uplift all of us as we enter this special Christmas period, after what has been a challenging year or so, for so many people.”.
The following services will then take place, to which everyone is welcome:
19th December at 6:30pm – Carol Service & Christingle
22nd December at 10am – Midweek Communion
24th December
at 5pm – Family Nativity and Crib service
at 11:30pm – Midnight Communion
25th December at 10am – Christmas Day Celebration
26th December at 10am – St Stephen’s Day Service
