Man suffers injuries after road traffic incident near Paringdon Road

Statement from East of England Ambulance Service: “EEAST was called to Ployters Road in Harlow just before 5.15pm yesterday following reports that a person had been hit by a car.

An ambulance, a senior paramedic in a support vehicle and a rapid response vehicle from the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended the scene.

” An adult man was transported to The Royal London Hospital for further assessment and treatment.” 

Statement from Essex Police

“We were contacted by ambulance colleagues at around 5.11pm on Thursday 23 December, following reports of a collision in Ployters Road, Harlow.

A car was in collision with an elderly man, 70s, who received hospital treatment for a leg injury.

The vehicle was later recovered.

“Enquiries are continuing”

1800 hrs

A ROAD traffic incident has occurred in Harlow this afternoon.

The location is Ployters Road, near Morningtons.

The incident happened at just after 5pm on Thursday afternoon.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Personnel appear to tending to one person by the side of the road.

The road has been blocked off from Morningtons (near the Drinker Moth).
