HARLOW Running Club member Terri Wiley claimed a Club Record in the Senior Female 5 Mile category  at the Witham Boxing Day 5 Mile race, last set in 2007. Terri finished in 45th place out of 264 finishers in a fantastic PB time of 33.57. Rob Lowe finished in 11th place in an excellent 28.56 and Catherine Ridge was 56th in 34.58.

After finishing at Witham Terri Wiley drove the short distance to Colchester to compete in a 5k race one hour later. Terri finished in 30th place out of 53 finishers in 21.43 and Paige Bircham was 29th and 3rd Female in 21.42.

Meanwhile, at the Colchester 10k Sean Flynn finished in 44th place out of 82 finishers and 1st Vet 60 in 50.14, Janice Page was 65th and 2nd Female Vet 55 in 61.37 and Debbie Smith 67th and 3rd Female Vet 55 in 62.01. 

The Run Through Lee Valley Velo Park event consisted of several distances.

In the 10 mile race Lee Webber finished in 4th place out of 33 finishers in 1.08.05 and Sandra Webber was 22nd and 1st Female Vet 45 in 1.31.09.  

In the 10k race Colin Langbridge finished in 36th place out of 65 finishers in 60.36 in his debut at the distance.

In the 5k race Thomas Beales was 20th out of 56 finishers in 25.13 in his debut at the distance.
