FIVE people have been arrested on suspicion of firearm offences in connection with an incident at an address in Harlow.

Police officers were called to Orchard Croft shortly before 5.25am on Monday 27 December.

A 51-year-old man from Harlow, a 38-year-old woman from Harlow, an 18-year-old woman of no fixed address and a 17-year-old girl from Harlow were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm.

The 18-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of criminal damage.

They have all been released on bail while our enquiries continue.

A fifth man, a 33-year-old from Berkshire, was arrested yesterday, 28 December, on suspicion of supplying a prohibited weapon.

He remains in custody.
