THERE were nine beautiful babies born at Princess Alexandra Hospital on Christmas Day.

It is one of the joys of journalism to ring around and speak to the parents about the bundles of joy delivered on a special day.

It is also so pleasing to hear their unstinting praise for the staff at the maternity unit at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH).

Included among the nine babies were twins.

Agree with everyone, both our 2yr old and 4yr old were born at PAH Maternity and everyone there was so good, professional, fun and very helpful to both my wife and I-can’t thank them enough for all they do-should be so proud, makes PAH stand out from everywhere else! Special Thankyou to NICU for the week my 4yr old spent there with the highest jaundice they have ever seen, off the scale and even though we live walking distance, allowed is to have one of the rooms adjoining NICU!
