Health / Wed 5th Jan 2022 pm31 12:04pm

HARLOW MP Robert Halfon is in isolation after contracting Covid over the weekend.

Conservative MP Mr Halfon was due to return to the House of Commons today (Wednesday) as a back bencher as well as in his capacity as chair fo the education committee.

However despite being laid low, he was busy yesterday, appearing by video link on a variety of media outlets and on a variety of subjects.

Mr Halfon put out a short message on his Facebook page.

He said: “I have tested positive for coronavirus and am therefore working from home.

Apart from feeling like five pumpkins are on my head, I feel okay and am continuing to work.

“Please do not hesitate to contact me via email if there is anything I can do to help you and your family”.
