Nine babies born at Princess Alexandra Hospital on New Years Day

NINE beautiful babies were born at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) on New Years Day. Nine must be a lucky number as that is exactly how many were born on Christmas Day.

Harlow resident Kerry Davies gave birth to Albie Richard Thompson. Albie weighed in at 7lb and 8 ounces.

His father, Richard Thompson is extremely proud.

Kerry and Richard would like to thank all the staff at the Maternity Department at Princess Alexandra for their care.

Kerry said: “We cannot praise them enough”


Stansted Abbotts resident Lizzie gave birth to a baby boy, Leo.

Leo weighed in at a very healthy 9lb 1oz

Lizzie also wanted to pay tribute to the amazing care she received by all the staff.


Goffs Oak resident Hayley gave birth to a baby girl Kiki.

Kiki weighed in at 6lb and 4oz.

Hayley told us that the staff were “so patient and so understanding”


Harlow resident Skaiste gave birth to a beautiful baby girl and have named her Isabella.

Isabella weighed in at 1kg 842g.

She was born at 2.30pm.

Her father Just sounded very proud as we spoke on the phone and said he was also very grateful to the staff at PAH.


Harlow resident Inese gave birth to a boy and has named him Maximillian.

Maximillian weighed in at 3025 grammes. He was born at 10.40pm

We will publish more details of the other babies as soon as we receive them.
