A HARLOW man is in court over a number of charges in relation to sex offences against a child.

Ross Jacobs, aged 22, of Spinning Wheel Mead,, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court in relation to the following.

Between May 31st, 2021 and June 6th, 2021 at Harlow being a person aged 18 or over, intentionally caused or incited a girl aged 14, not reasonably believing she was aged 16 or over, to engage in sexual activity of a non penetrative nature, namely sending sexually explicit texts and photos.

On May 31st, 2021 and June 6th 2021 at Harlow being a person aged 18 or over, intentionally caused or incited a girl aged 15, not reasonably believing she was aged 16 or over, to engage in sexual activity of a non penetrative nature, namely sending sexually explicit texts and photos and encouraging them to be sent to him.

Jacobs has been remanded on bail until January 31st when he will appear at Colchester Magistrates Court.
